It is all systems go for an epic Motor Show in Tongaat.
The Tongaat Child and Family Welfare Society would be hosting the first ever Motor Show in Tongaat on Sunday, 27 August at the Outspan Grounds starting at 9am.
The Society has engaged the services of Bass City Car Association, the USACI administrators in South Africa. Bass City Car Association is a nationally based organisation that has hosted events at the Rand Show, Gateway and Sibiya amongst others.
USACI (United States Auto Sound Competition International) is an international organization that monitors and records the results of the sound off. This information is then shared internationally. Incidentally, South Africa holds many international titles and we expect these titles to be matched if not beaten at our event.
The Show and Shine will include classics as well and modern cars and would be judged by the renowned classic car enthusiast Dylan Welton of Grounded Nation. The vehicles on show will be judged on internationally accepted criteria.
